Small tools for the repetitive steps

I write these for my own work: characters for VR, clothing from Marvelous Designer, and assets for Superhive, Gumroad and Sketchfab. Each one takes a step I do over and over and makes it one click.

All of them are extensions for Blender 5.0 or newer, and most have their panel in the N-panel.

Modelling

Shape, select, scatter

Quicker hard-surface work and set dressing.

TM Bevel Radius Manager

Control the bevel radius on many objects at once through groups, in the modifier and in the shader.

TM Simple Scatter

Scatter a collection over weight-painted vertex groups, with random rotation and scale. Several layers per object.

TM Curve Tension

Pull Bézier curves taut between their end points, for cables, ropes and hoses.

TM Face Angle Select

Select faces by their slope, for example all the flat tops or all the steep sides.

TM Mirror Split

Apply the Mirror modifier and split each object into a left and a right half.

TM Edit Mode Pies

Pie menus for mode, delete, flip and apply transform, plus a quick mirror axis picker.

Characters & clothing

Rigs and garments

From Character Creator and Marvelous Designer to a clean, light character.

TM Bone Manager

Delete and rename bones while weights and animations stay in sync. Trim a heavy rig down to what the engine needs.

TM UV Flatten Retopo

Lay garment panels out flat by UV, retopologise in 2D, and put them back together in 3D with matching seams.

Materials & textures

Paint, convert, rename

From material blending to tidy texture files.

TM Material Mixer

Paint seamless materials onto a mesh with colour attribute masks, including height and displacement.

TM Normal to Roughness

Generate a roughness map from a normal map, with the albedo as an optional extra.

TM Normal to Displacement

Turn a normal map into a height map, for displacement or bump.

TM TextureSet Renamer

Rename and export whole texture sets with a naming convention, and restore the old paths if needed.

Assets & viewport

Check, present, ship

The last mile before an asset goes out the door.

TM Asset Scanner

Check triangles, n-gons, UVs and textures against the limits you set.

TM Copy to Clipboard

Copy dimensions, polycount, materials, textures, draw calls and animation names, ready for a product page.

TM HDRI Manager

Browse HDRIs with thumbnails, then rotate and adjust the lighting right from the N-panel.

TM Wire Toggle

Wireframe display per object, hidden automatically when you switch to Rendered mode.
